Dear {!firstname}: Welcome to Your WEBSITE LAW ALERT by Chip Cooper and DigiContracts.com
Robert Samuelson, in his New York Times article A Stand-Pat Society questioned whether the "Great Recession" would leave indelible scars. On the optimistic side of the argument, he described this vision: "A 'can-do' culture -- combining intense ambition with a flexibility to adapt and an instinct for innovation -- ensures that the economy will ultimately rebound strongly. The harsh recession may have actually improved the long-term outlook by purging high-cost firms and forcing efficiencies. Productivity (output per hour worked) has risen 4 percent in the past year. Profits are already up 21 percent from their low; surviving firms will soon expand." Samuelson's ultimate question: "Has economic resilience survived -- or given way to a stand-pat society?" |

We all make New Year's resolutions - some are personal, and some are business or professional in nature. Even if we don't actually make New Year's resolutions, we engage in formal and informal "planning" as we look ahead to the new year. By now, you're probably aware that your website operations are highly regulated. And the pace of legal regulations continues to accelerate. Which means that you face an increasing risk of legal liability. So, it's a good idea to give your website a legal check-up and to update your site before it's too late. Read my article 2010 Resolution -- Give Your Website a Legal Check-Up. |

We've added a free online tool Website Documents Determinator (pardon the name) to our DigiContracts.com site. It incorporates my document selection algorithm that is in our MyLegalFirewall website document drafting service, and it's a quick and easy way to determine which documents your website really needs. Regards,
