Dear {!firstname}:

Welcome to Your WEBSITE LAW ALERT by Chip Cooper and DigiContracts.com

Chip's Commentary:

Many of you know that I'm a certified BBQ Judge on the Memphis BBQ Network Circuit.

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of judging at the Big Pig Jig BBQ Contest (122 teams competing).

There's a big difference between the BBQ pork prepared by a top competition team and what you get in a good BBQ restaurant -- wish you could experience it.

And the smoke, the custom designed and fabricated cookers, the stories from big time pit masters, and "secret" recipes that they sometimes partially disclose... well, you can't beat the atmosphere!

SaaS Reseller Agreements

You've successfully started up or converted to the SaaS model, and now you'd like to leverage your success by setting up a reseller channel for your SaaS offering.

Or, you'd like to offer functionality using the SaaS model to your existing customers, and you'd like to start by offering a SaaS service provided by another service provider.

How do you go about structuring the transaction - including the SaaS Reseller agreement that will implement it?

There are at least 4 ways to do it, and these ways may be a significant factor in your business decision.

Read my article: Top 4 Strategies to Structure Your SaaS Reseller Agreement.

Comments From Digicontracts.com:

We've just added the 4 SaaS Reseller Agreements discussed in the article linked above to the DigiContracts.com site. For more information for all things SaaS, visit our new SaaS Legal Resource.

Note that the new SaaS Reseller Agreements provide clauses intended to comply with the new FTC Regs that go into effect December 1, 2009.

Regards,
