Dear {!firstname}:

Welcome to Your WEBSITE LAW ALERT by Chip Cooper and DigiContracts.com

Chip's Commentary:

I've recently begun following one piece of advice by online productivity guru, Randy Gage.

Essentially, it's: "Shut Up, I'm Trying to Think". At the risk of sounding impolite, these words highlight a critical requirement for improving productivity.

Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, and many other intellectuals actually scheduled themselves time to think. The secret is a scheduled quiet time... with no distractions.

When you don't have any distractions, you'll think more freely and creatively.

2 Costly Mistakes For SaaS Sites to Avoid With Online Contracting

The SaaS (software as a service) agreement is the key legal document for sites that provide online services. It's the legal agreement that binds the site's customers and provides critical rules and restrictions regarding the use of the online service.

The law of online contracting has become fairly well settled. Since 2002, the recipe for creating an enforceable SaaS agreement is relatively straight forward. This is good news for SaaS sites with online agreements such as Membership Agreements, Subscription Agreements, Content License Agreements, and the like.

Nevertheless, there are still costly mistakes to avoid. Two recent cases provide important lessons for all SaaS sites. Read my article entitled Beware of Human Intervention With Online Contracting -- 2 Costly Mistakes To Avoid .
