When To Use

For use by Internet marketers for a joint venture for the sale of a product or service over the Internet.

One party has the product or service (Seller), and the other has the email list (List Provider); based on the reseller model meaning that the Reseller-List Provider becomes a reseller of the Seller and promotes the Seller's product/service to its list.

With the reseller model, the Reseller-List Provider (i) determines the price and terms for the Offer, (ii) provides for transaction processing (with the result that purchasers do not automatically end up on the Seller's list – they could end up on Seller's list if the parties agree to a transfer and the Reseller-List Provider's Privacy Policy discloses the transfer), and (iii) pays the Seller a stipulated price for its resales of Seller's product/service.
