When To Use

For use by Internet marketers for a joint venture for the sale of a product or service over the Internet.

One party has the product or service (Seller), and the other has the email list (List Provider); based on the affiliate model meaning that the List Provider becomes an affiliate of the Seller and promotes the Seller's product/service to its list.

With the affiliate model, the Seller (i) determines the price and terms for the Offer, (ii) provides for transaction processing (with the result that purchasers automatically end up on the Seller's list), and (iii) pays the List Provider a revenue share based on revenues from the offer.
